I Hate Saturday Mornings.

Its just gone 9am and I'm lying in my bed, in the dark, with my lap top balanced on my lap and my cat awkwardly curled up on my left arm.

And so my Saturday begins.

I hate Saturday mornings. I always wake up realising I have nothing fun/productive to do. Usually I try and avoid them by sleeping in until 11. Today though, I woke up at 8:30 and found myself wide awake.

I may watch more of the Smallville boxset. I rented Series 1 from Blockbuster as I had nothing else to do (or some homework to distract myself from). So I have planned to watch it, from the beginning to the end. And so far, I've become obsessed and am already looking at buying Series 2.

I'm working from 3 - 6 today. I got a phonecall yesterday and was about to turn down the extra hours with the usual "Sorry I already have plans," when I realised I don't. And I need the money after a rather excessive shopping splurge and the purchase of this laptop.

Anyway, its half term this week which means no college. My college call it "Reading Week" and it looks like I might actually have to get round to doing some reading seeing as most of my friends are leaving me to go on holiday.

Oh, and I didn't go straight and start up a livejournal the minute I finished my first entry. I exercised some self control and watched some TV instead. However, the thought has entered my mind once more. I am thinking I want to start up a column type thing. A blog but where I don't talk about my day to day bores but more current news and things. If I want to go into journalism, I think I should start somewhere.

So yes, I think I'll get started on that. If I can think of anything to write about.

You realise I will write one article then get bored and abandon it.
